12 Mar The Hardest Site to Build is Your Own
We’ve been around since 2013. In the early days, we spent a lot of time working out what we do and spreading the word. Our clients started lining up and we never really found the time to build a website that really showed off our work. There have been three iterations of boom12.ca each with significant weaknesses. It’s always been something we worked on for hours and hours between projects but never quite finished.
It reminds me of the saying about mechanics working on their own cars. The only difference of course being that you don’t check out your mechanic’s car before hiring her.
People do check out boom12.ca when considering us for a project. In fact, as a company, we tell our clients that their website is their most valuable communications asset. How then could we have spent almost two years to finally launch our own website?
This is the question I’ve been asking myself while beating myself up about hypocrosy and such. There’s always been a boom12.ca but there’s never been anything that truly demonstrated what we do. Alas, the reality is since 2013 design trends have shifted significantly, in fact everything has changed. There’s no way the website we started building in 2013 could have lasted until now.
That said, it was about time we put our money where our mouths have been and unveiled something we could be proud of. So, here it is, our most important communication asset. We hope you like it.
We’ve spent time breaking the content into sensible sections that make understanding our services easier. We avoid relentless sales pitches but afford you the opportunity to ask questions at every turn. We also include examples of how our strategies and projects have benefited clients.
