Hello Canola: A Canadian Success Story

In late 2023, we joined forces with FleishmanHillard Highroad Toronto and the National Canola Marketing Program to launch the digital home for Hello Canola—a campaign designed to educate Canadians about the cultural and economic significance of the canola industry.

This web-first initiative, led by the combined expertise of Alberta Canola, SaskOilseeds, and Manitoba Canola Growers, has not only raised awareness from coast to coast but has also established a lasting digital platform that continues to engage audiences.

Our role as the core developer has been integral in crafting a website that balances rich, informative content with a modern, user-friendly experience. The site’s subtle animations, interactive elements, and searchable, filterable content provide a smooth navigation experience, allowing visitors to explore the diverse uses of canola—from culinary applications to its role in cosmetics and beyond.

By employing industry-standard best practices such as responsive design and accessibility, we ensured the site not only looks contemporary but performs seamlessly across all devices.

The project stands as a testament to our ability to collaborate with major partners and manage complex, high-impact campaigns. While the Hello Canola campaign drives engagement through social media, video, email, and paid digital features, the website remains its central hub—a continuously evolving resource that reflects our commitment to technical excellence and strategic innovation.

By integrating advanced development techniques with a clean, modern aesthetic, we continue to support Hello Canola as it informs and inspires, reinforcing the critical role of Canadian canola in both the domestic and global arenas.
